2025-05-20ASUS has updated its enthusiast notebook line at Computex 2025. The ROG Zephyrus G14, starting at $2,099.99, comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU and a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, along with 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of SSD storage, making it a high-end configuration.
The 14-inch notebook is relatively compact, using 87% of the body (not as compact as this one) and weighs only 1.57 kg, making it easy to carry around. With a resolution of 3072 x 1620 (16:10), slightly above 1440p, it’s possible to extract the potential of the RTX 5080.

In addition, the OLED screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness with Dolby Vision, 0.2 ms response time, HDR support, and NVIDIA G-Sync, ideal for the embedded GPU.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2025 allows the user to choose a processor up to a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, with 12 cores and 24 threads based on Zen 5, with 24 MB of cache L3 and 12 MB of cache L2. It also features an NPU XDNA with up to 50 TOPS of AI performance, and an iGPU Radeon 890M, considered one of the best among integrated graphics for notebooks, although the RTX 5080 is present in this model, practically rendering the integrated graphics useless.
There are models equipped with a Ryzen 9 270 and RTX 5070 and with the top-of-the-line CPU from AMD, but with a GPU GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, starting at $2,099.99. Prices vary according to the SSD storage and RAM.
The new ROG Zephyrus G14 also features HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, and USB4 Type-C, both with support for DisplayPort and battery charging, as well as a card reader.
ASUS also revealed a 16-inch version with a 240 Hz screen, Intel Core Ultra 9, and up to an RTX 5070. In this model, the price starts at $2,150. Both series arrive in June.
