2025-02-10Acer announces its new generation of Predator Helios notebooks, equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 GPUs and Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors. With 16 and 18-inch models, the manufacturer is betting on the traditional gamer audience and those who use AI and need top-notch hardware.
The top configuration of the Predator Helios Neo AI features an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, both revealed during CES 2025. This hardware is sufficient for heavy tasks such as content creation, demanding games, and AI processing.
The other configuration is slightly more modest but still delivers robust hardware with a Core Ultra 7 255HX and GeForce RTX 5070. In either option, it’s possible to have up to 64 GB of DDR5-6400 memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

Each model offers four different screen options. The 16-inch version can have an OLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1600, 240 Hz, and a response time of 1 ms, ideal for gamers. The same applies to the 18-inch model, with minor exceptions: Mini LED panel, 250 Hz, and a response time of 3 ms.

Both Acer Predator Helios Neo AI models come with the 5th generation of AeroBlade 3D fans, metal liquid thermal paste, and Vector heat pipes, all designed to cool the demanding hardware of this series. The notebooks feature modern connections, including WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, microSD card reader, and 3.5 mm audio connection.
There is no expectation of the Acer Predator Helios Neo AI notebooks arriving in Brazil. Abroad, prices vary between $1,899.99 and $2,199.99, with a release scheduled for between April and May.
